So what is employer management?

Employer management essentially involves our assistance for you to adopt a proactive approach to ensuring that you are treated properly and fairly in the workplace.

The process usually involves three key elements:

  1. Firstly, knowing and understanding your individual and collective rights.
  2. Secondly, choosing the right way to communicate with your employer and approaching the situation in an appropriate way, taking into account your individual situation.
  3. Thirdly, because your ongoing employment is very rarely guaranteed, one eye should be kept on the potential claims available to you either during or post-employment (should the employer make the decision to dismiss you), and steps should be taken during the employment to solidify those claims.
